Glittery Madness!

This was from a couple of weeks ago; I did it for the middle school production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream." Fairies don't shy away from glitter, so I thought, "Why not go crazy?" I had a blast doing the cast's makeup and I got a ton of studying done, so I feel pretty damn accomplished. The polish I wore was China Glaze "Some Like it Haute":

This was three coats.

Look at that glittery goodness. It's a dark gray base with tons of holographic glitter. Seriously, I couldn't stop looking at my hands when this was in the sunlight. The pictures DO NOT do it justice. However, it is a royal pain in the ass to remove. It literally took me 30 minutes to slough off the majority of the polish. Nevertheless, this isn't stopping me from wearing it for New Years Eve. It's worth the trouble.

Showing some love for Mark Zuckerberg. :)

I haven't been on here for a while, so I have some serious catching-up to do.

This was a Facebook-inspired nail and I think it came out alright:

Polishes used:

Sinful Colors "Miami Heat"
Brucci "Victoria's Blue Eyes"
Sally Hansen "White On"

NOTD: Merry Christmas Eve!

Hi guys. I'm so sorry about the long hiatus; I've been super busy with homework, friends, and such. I've got some awesome Santa hat nails for you:

I know my hand looks bad, but try to deal.

I'll post a tutorial soon. Hanukkah and New Years nails will come, I promise. I'll try to be more regular, but the spring semester is coming (along with midterms), and I'm a high school junior in a very hard group. So be patient, my darlings.

Nina. :)

You will NOT believe how amazing this video is.

Even though this is just an advertisement for Chanel, it is a work of art. Just watch it and you'll see.

Sinful Mint Apple + Black Crackle = Awesomeness.

I've decided that I'm going to put up pictures of nail art as well as my paintings, so I hope you enjoy that as well. :)

The green color is Sinful Colors Mint Apple and the black crackly stuff is Color Club Smash Hit. (Get it? Smash hit? Yeah, my jokes suck.) Enjoy!

I love Mint Apple; it's THE best teal I've ever seen and it's only $2. You really do get a bang for your buck. The only problem I have with it is the name. Mint Apple? Blech. Fruit and mint NEVER, EVER go together. EVER. Your mouth will regret it. Anyway, it's amaze-balls.

Thanks for reading.

A little intro to my blog.

Hello, and welcome to my blog. I suggest that you exercise caution if you're not used to crazy people like myself. I'll try to post regularly (like once a week or so) about my artwork, as well as other news. With that said, I hope you enjoy my posts.
